GUITAR ART ONE TO ONE - Information for Artists and Galleries

1. GALLERY / EXHIBITION

  • One full-view photograph of the guitar (front, with the back optional) against a clean white background.

  • For the exhibition, the image will be produced as a 130 × 80 cm fine art print, mounted on Dibond and presented without a frame.

2. BOOK

  • One full-view photograph of the guitar (front and back).

  • A selection of detailed close-up images highlighting its unique character, wear, and distinctive features.

  • Each artist will also be portrayed in a black-and-white portrait.

  • The photographs will be accompanied by the personal story behind the guitar and what it means to the artist.

3. STORY

The story should focus on the relationship between the artist and their guitar. Every instrument has its own history, and we'd like to capture the experiences that make it unique. This could include, for example:

  • A broken neck and its repair.

  • The guitar being stolen and later recovered.

  • An endorsement deal or collaboration with a guitar manufacturer.

  • Memorable concerts, recording sessions, or other significant moments associated with the instrument.

The more personal and authentic the story, the more it will add to the project.

The artist's portrait serves as the visual connection between the musician and the guitar, bringing the personal story behind the instrument to life.

To maintain a clean, timeless aesthetic and reflect the gallery setting, each artist will be photographed in black and white against a white or light grey background, using a simple and understated style.

GUITAR ART ONE TO ONE - The Book

The sample pages presented here provide a first impression of GUITAR ART ONE TO ONE.

The book brings together exceptional guitars belonging to renowned artists, personal stories, musician portraits, and striking photography. It is conceived as a tribute to the guitar — not only as an instrument, but as an artistic object, a witness to personal history, and an expression of individual creativity.

The featured pages invite the viewer to step into the world of the artists and their instruments, discovering the stories behind each guitar and experiencing the book as an integral part of the planned gallery exhibition.

About - the Artist / Photographer and Author

As a former guitarist, I have experienced the unique connection between musician, instrument, and sound firsthand. For me, the guitar is an expression of the artist’s personality and musical voice.

In my work as a photographer, I see myself as the echo between the guitar, the artist, and the viewer. My role is to make this connection visible — capturing a moment where sound, identity, and visual perception come together.

GUITAR ART ONE TO ONE brings together my experience as a musician with my perspective as a photographer and artist.
