Ich bin Fotograf und ehemaliger Musiker. Aus meiner Verbindung zur Musik entstand GUITAR ART ONE TO ONE, ein fortlaufendes Kunstprojekt, das außergewöhnlichen Gitarren eine Bühne gibt – Instrumenten, die eine Geschichte erzählen, geprägt von den Musikern, die sie gespielt haben und spielen. Jede Schramme, jede Spur steht für gelebte Musik.

Für mich ist dieses Projekt eine Zeitreise durch die Musikgeschichte. Im direkten Austausch erzählen mir die Musiker die Geschichte ihrer Gitarre. In diesem Moment der Begegnung gibt es keinen Rockstar, sondern den Menschen – und seine tiefe Verbindung zu seinem Instrument.

In Fine-Art-Fotografien, die in Originalgröße der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert werden, rücke ich Instrumente ins Zentrum, die mehr sind als Holz und Draht: Sie stehen für Erinnerungen, Persönlichkeit und Geschichte. Ob selten, vintage, modifiziert, hart gespielt oder einfach geliebt – jede Gitarre trägt Seele und Charakter. Genau das möchte ich sichtbar machen.

I am a photographer and former musician. From my deep connection to music, GUITAR ART ONE TO ONE was born — an ongoing art project that gives exceptional guitars a stage of their own. These are instruments with stories to tell, shaped by the musicians who have played them — and who continue to do so. Every scratch, every mark bears witness to music that has truly been lived. For me, this project is a journey through the history of music. In personal conversations, the musicians share the story of their guitar. In those moments of encounter, there is no rock star — only the person, and their profound bond with their instrument. Through fine art photographs, presented to the public at original size, I place these instruments centre stage. They are far more than wood and wire; they embody memories, personality, and history. Whether rare, vintage, modified, well-worn, or simply well-loved — each guitar carries soul and character. That is precisely what I aim to make visible.
